Cardiac Electrophysiologist

Dr. Rangadham Nagarakanti, MD, joins NBCG and RWJPE as a Cardiac Electrophysiologist. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital in PA, followed by Clinical Cardiology fellowship at Louisiana State University, LA and then completed Cardiac Eelectrophysiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, and also holds certifications in Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. He was an investigator in several multinational clinical trials, such as RELY and PASCAL trials. He has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and book chapters.

Dr. Nagarakanti has expertise in evaluation and management of heart rhythm disorders including implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators as well as ablation of various arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, SVT etc.

Over the last 6 years as an electrophysiologist, he has performed several hundred procedures with excellent safety. He has additional expertise in hybrid management of atrial fibrillation.

Dr. Nagarakanti enjoys playing tennis, swimming, and traveling during free time.
